( KTRS ) Homicide detectives are investigating after a body was found early Sunday morning.

Police report the body was found just before 8 am in an alley near Kingshighway and I-70 in north St. Louis.

The victim is a male and believed to be in his 60’s and had head trauma. At this time no further details have been released.

This is the 9th homicide of 2017 in St. Louis.
