ST. LOUIS (AP) – Nine members of Missouri’s congressional delegation – one senator and all eight members of the House – are on the ballot in the primary election.
U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt is facing three little-known challengers Tuesday in the Republican primary, but he has long been focused on his expected general election opponent, Democratic Secretary of State Jason Kander.
U.S. Rep. William Lacy Clay is getting a spirited Democratic primary challenge from state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal. There also are statewide primaries for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state and treasurer.
And voters in Ferguson are voting to raise taxes to help the city rebound from the financial hit it took following the fatal police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown.
