(KTRS) – A police chase caused traffic problems on I-270 in south county earlier this afternoon.

Police say the incident started as a bank robbery in Clayton. Officers started to chase the van, with the pursuit winding through the city of St. Louis and onto the highway. A listener tells KTRS that the suspect were driving the wrong way on the highway before the chase ended in Sunset Hills. The suspect is in custody.
