Ballwin, MO  (KTRS)  The community continues to reach out to a Ballwin Police officer who was shot in the line of duty.

Dozens of restaurants are participating in the Ballwin Dine Out on Monday to raise money for Officer Mike Flamion and his family. Organizers hope to raise $20,000 with the event.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Flamion family for the officer’s long term care. Flamion was shot during a traffic stop on New Ballwin Road on July 8th.
