Ironton, MO  (KTRS)  An autopsy will be performed on Thursday on a three-year-old boy who went missing from his grandfather’s home in southeast Missouri.

Investigators say the body of Titus Tackett was found late Wednesday morning in a minivan, about a mile from his grandfather’s home in Ironton.  A search was launched after family members alerted police that Titus was missing at just after midnight on Wednesday.

Investigators say it’s too soon to say whether or not the child wandered away from the home. Preliminary results from the autopsy could be released as soon as this afternoon.
