EDGERTON, Mo. (AP) – Authorities say a “person of interest” in a fire that killed four people in northwest Missouri has been found.
The Kansas City Metro Squad said Sunday that the 24-year-old man was found unharmed outside of Missouri and that he is in custody. The man was sought for questioning about the deaths of three adults and an infant. A fire was reported just before midnight Friday at a rural home south of Edgerton in Platte County.
Authorities are investigating the deaths as possible homicides. The names of the four people who died in the fire have not been released.
