( KTRS ) The St. Louis Bureau of Crimes Against Persons unit is investigating a fatal weekend crash.
Around 2pm, Saturday Afternoon, police responded to a 2 vehicle accident at the intersection of MO-141 and Burgundy.
One vehicle, an SUV, was driving northbound on MO-141 from Manchester when it struck another vehicle, driving southbound, attempting to make a left turn onto Burgundy. The striking vehicle was occupied by three people; two of them were ejected from the vehicle.
The driver, 26 year old Ebony Franklin, was ejected from the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 2nd person ejected, a 20 year old female, was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition. The 3rd passenger in the striking vehicle was a 17 year old female, who was not injured in the accident.
The vehicle that was struck was occupied by one person, an 18 year old male. He was transported to the local hospital and is in stable condition.
