( KTRS ) Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Jennings.

Authorities report that the shooting took place in the 7100 block of Florence Place around 5:20 Thursday evening. One male victim was shot in the leg and was taken to hospital for a non-life threatening injury.

The St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons unit is now handling the investigation.

At this time no further details have been released.
