( KTRS ) Soulard residents are on edge after a double shooting in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police say the the 2 victims, a man and woman, were shot multiple times while sitting in their vehicle near 7th Street and Sydney Ave at around 12:40 am. Both were rushed to hospital for treatment.

The man, in his early 30’s, is said to be serious but stable condition, the woman, believed to be in her late twenties has been listed in critical yet stable condition.

At this time no more information has been released. Anyone with any information is urged to contact the police.
