( KTRS ) Police have arrested a man they say shot a 16 yr old girl on April 6th during a drug deal.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued arrest warrants for 19 yr old Eric Mckinney Jr. He faces first degree assault and armed criminal actions charges.
Police say that the teen agreed to meet Mckinney to sell marijuana at the Hilltop Village Center parking lot, in Eureka. During the deal and argument over money began, Mckinney then hit the victim with a gun in the face and shot her one time. The girl then stabbed Mckinney with a knife before he fled the scene.
Authorities say the girl suffered serious injuries and is still hospitalized.
