St. Louis, MO (KTRS) The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is recommending that St. Louis Public Schools remain under an appointed board for another three years.
The Missouri Board of Education is scheduled to vote on that recommendation on Tuesday. The Special Administrative Board has been in control of the district since 2007, after losing accreditation.
The SAB is comprised of three members: Rick Sullivan, Melanie Adams and Richard Gaines.
