( KTRS ) Heavy rains have caused flooding in some areas, leading to traffic accicdents and power outages.
More than 5 inches of rain has already fallen and the National Weather Service says another inch is expected to fall today.
Ameren reports that more than 15,000 customers lost power. The hardest hit areas were in Ladue, Rock Hill and Fenton.
One of the areas that could see flooding is Dardenne Creek in St. Peters. Flooding is also expected on the Meramec River at Pacific, Eureka, Valley Park and Arnold.
