( KTRS ) An Alton man, IL. man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for a fatal 2013 traffic crash.

29 yr old Jeffrey Rynders, was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to two counts of ‘Aggravated DUI Resulting in Death’ this past June.

The fatal accident happened in September 2013. Rynders was driving under the influence when he struck a motorcycle carrying two people near the Clark Bridge in Alton, IL. 66 yr old Gary and 63 yr old Lora Wright, were killed at the scene. Both victims, who were husband and wife, were from Wood River.

Authorities say Rynders will be required to serve 85% of his sentence.
