St. Louis, MO (KTRS) Another member of the Hubbard family is being challenged over election results from the August second primary.
Once again absentee ballots are at the center of another election dispute. This time its with St. Louis’ Fifth Ward Democratic Committeeman race. Rasheen Aldridge, who served on the Ferguson Commission, lost that race to Rodney Hubbard, Sr. by 55 votes.
The “St. Louis Post Dispatch” reports that Aldridge’s attorney filed a petition with the St. Louis Circuit Court, contesting those election results. Meanwhile, Penny Hubbard, the wife of Rodney Hubbard is battling to keep her seat in the 78th District. A judge threw out the election results, after her opponent Bruce Franks filed a lawsuit.
This has resulted in a do-over election, which is scheduled for Friday.
