St. Louis, MO (KTRS) Two suspects are being sought in connection with a string of armed robberies at south St. Louis businesses within the last month.
Authorities say the hold ups began on August 4th at a 7-11 in the 4900 block of Christy Boulevard. That same 7-11 was robbed again on August 11th. This was followed by hold ups at Subway Restaurant in the 3600 block of Grand Boulevard on August 13th, Subway Restaurant in the 4600 Chippewa Street, 7-Eleven in the 5300 block of Chippewa Street on August 28th, 7-Eleven in the 5600 block Gravois Avenue on August 30th, Family Dollar in the 4600 Gravois Avenue on September 1st., and Taco Bell in the 3400 block of S. Kingshighway Boulevard on September 3rd.
The FBI and St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) are jointly investigating the serial armed robberies. “We have dedicated FBI resources to work hand in hand with our law enforcement partners to crack down on armed business robberies and carjackings in the St. Louis area,” said Acting Special Agent in Charge Steve D’Antuono, FBI St. Louis Division. “Along with help from the public, we will bring violent offenders to justice and off the street.”
Both are described as black males. Police say it’s believed that one of the suspects could be in his 30s to 40s and was involved in most of the robberies. The other suspect is believed to be younger and only involved in three of the robberies.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of either of two suspects responsible. Anyone with any information is asked to call FBI St. Louis at (314) 589-2500 to be eligible for the reward.
