St. Louis, MO (KTRS) About 50,000 Ameren customers are without power on Sunday following the overnight storms.
The storms knocked out power to customers on both sides of the river. Most of the outages are in St. Louis and St. Charles counties. The outage comes after the dangerous heat wave. Saturday hit a record setting 108 degrees.
Ameren reports that crews are working to restore power. There’s no word on when power is expected to be fully restored.
Meanwhile, temperatures are forecast to hit in the upper 90’s.
