St. Charles, MO (KTRS) A suspect is in custody after a standoff at a St. Charles Quik Trip.
Authorities say police spotted a man wanted on outstanding warrants at the Quik Trip on Kingshighway and Elm Street around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. When police approached him, the suspect allegedly pulled out a knife.
Officers tried subduing him with a taser, but missed. The suspect then barricaded himself in a bathroom. He surrendered peacefully about two hours later.
There’s no word on the nature of the warrants issued in St. Louis County on the suspect. The suspect’s name is being withheld pending charges.
