ST. LOUIS (KTRS) St. Louis County is growing its cyber crime enforcement team. St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger says a state grant will pay for hiring an additional detective to help crack down on the sexual exploitation of adults and children, human trafficking, and forced prostitution.
He says the task force has already been integral in rescuing dozens of victims, and putting hundreds of criminals behind bars … 39 arrests so far this year. The $265,000 grant from the State Cyber Crime Grant Program means expanding the county’s reach to save even more victims from often dire situations.
