ST. LOUIS (KTRS) A St. Louis man faces homicide charges in connection with the shooting death of man in the 3500 block of Candlebrook Court a week ago. On June 28, County Police responded to a call about a shooting and when they arrived, they found 45-year-old Ronald Morris of the 2000 block of Jenner Lane in the driveway of the complex. He had been shot several times. He died later at a hospital.
This weekend, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges against Christopher Cross, 37, of the 1100 block of Purdue Avenue for one count of 1st degree murder and one count of armed criminal action. Cross is being held without a bond. Police say Cross was angry about a recent break up with his girlfriend and had been following Morris, his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.
