( KTRS ) Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway will be in St. Louis today, visiting with County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch.

The two will be meeting to discuss a “bipartisan effort to increase penalties for government officials who steal public dollars.”

Also up for discussion, is legislation to provide additional tools for law enforcement when public officials are suspected of misconduct or illegal activities in their official roles.

Earlier this week, in Illinois, former congressman Aaron Schock pled not guilty to 24 indictment charges that he misspent campaign funds and constituents dollars.
