Five people are in hospital after a six-car crash in Florissant late Thursday night.

The crash happened just around 10 p.m. near the intersection of New Halls Ferry Road and Lindbergh Boulevard, when one southbound vehicle struck 5 vehicles going the other way. Two people were ejected from the vehicles they were in.

Five people in total were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.

The driver of the southbound vehicle did stop and co-operate with officers at the scene.
