O’Fallon, MO  (KTRS)  Police are investigating a fatal shooting at the O’fallon home of a key witness in a high profile murder case.

Police say a female resident shot and killed a man during an apparent burglary at a home on Little Brave Drive Tuesday afternoon. The home is owned by Pamela Hupp, who testified for the prosecution in the Russell Faria case in Lincoln County.

Faria was convicted in the 2011 murder of his wife Betsy Faria, but was later acquitted after getting a new trial.

Police haven’t said whether or not Hupp was the female resident who shot the intruder at her home. The name of the shooting victim hasn’t been released.
