The Mizzou football program received some very good news on Wednesday regarding a running back recruit whose availability was questionable at best until today.

As PowerMizzou.com reported first, Nate Strong will be academically eligible, and on campus for the fall semester. Strong was a 2015 recruit for Gary Pinkel and the Tigers, but had to begin his collegiate career at Hinds CC to become eligible.

Strong was a 4-star recruit according to Rivals out of high school, and joins suddenly a crowded backfield with Oklahoma transfer Alex Ross, and Ish Witter among others.
