(KTRS) – A St. Louis County woman is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a man she was supposed to be helping.

Prosecutors say that Christine Schall was helping an older man with housework and taking him on errands when family members noticed some financial irregularities. Police believe that Schall ran up more than $10,000 in charges on the man’s credit card and fraudulently cashed more than $6,000 worth of checks.
