(KTRS) – Two adults and their six-month-old daughter were found dead after a house fire in north St. Louis this weekend.

Investigators now believe that the parents, Melvin Thomas and Maruita Jones, were shot. Fire officials say the home had working smoke detectors on the second floor of the home. Homicide detectives are involved in the investigation.
