(KTRS) – One Illinois State Senator is calling on lawmakers to stop paying Dennis Hastert his taxpayer-funded pension.

Hastert currently gets $28,000-a-year from his pension for his years of service as a state legislator. He was sentenced to 15 months in prison in a hush-money case that revealed accusations that he sexually abused teenagers.
