Affton, MO  (KTRS)  A suspect is being sought in connection with a bank robbery in south county.

Police say a man robbed the Affton branch of PNC Bank in the 8900 block of Gravois at 2:50 p.m. Thursday.  The suspect didn’t display a weapon, but instead handed a teller a note, announcing the robbery. He then left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a light skin black male. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt, jeans, stocking cap, and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

PNC Bank is offering an independent reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction of the bank robbery suspect.
