Union, MO  (KTRS)   Police may be getting closer to finding an escaped inmate in Franklin County.

Police say Jason Mills was spot Friday morning on the west side of Union.  This resulted to Union schools being put on lock down.

Mills escaped with fellow inmate Adam Moore from the Madison County Jail Sunday afternoon.  Moore was captured shortly after his escape.

Mills was being held on several charges, including assault and a weapons charge.

Police are urging the public to call 9-1-1 if they spot Mills.
