(KTRS) – Authorities are narrowing the search area for a prison escapee. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office believe they have a lead on a possible location of Jason Mills.

Mills, along with convicted murderer Adam Moore, escaped from the Madison County Jail on Sunday afternoon. Moore was quickly caught, but Mills is still on the loose. Schools near the search area were put in a lock-out, meaning all exterior doors were locked and students had to stay indoors for the remainder of the day.
