St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  Today is World AIDS Day.

St. Louis Effort For AIDS is hosting a series of events at the Missouri History Museum today from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. evening.  This includes free and confidential HIV testing, heath resources, and a remembrance service.

World AIDS Day is held annually on  December 1st. to raise awareness about the illness. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day, held for the first time in 1988.
