ST. LOUIS (AP) — Two men are dead after one of them drove the wrong way on Interstate 70 in north St. Louis and collided with a vehicle driven by the other.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 4:58 a.m. Friday, forcing the eastbound lanes of the interstate to be temporarily shut down.
The Patrol says 65-year-old Danilo Magparangalan of Bridgeton was driving east on the highway when his SUV was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by Alberto Arevalo of Berkeley.
Magparangalan and Arevalo, whose age wasn’t available, were killed in the crash. Four others in Magparangalan’s vehicle were taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries.
