( KTRS ) St. Louis County’s Accident Reconstruction team has been called out for a fatal accident.

Sunday around 3:15 pm at New Jamestown Road and Krenski in North St. Louis County, a driver was killed in a single vehicle accident. Police say the driver was speeding, lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree.

The 17-years-old female driver, died at the scene.

All 4 of the passengers in the vehicle were injured, one was airlifted to Children’s Hospital and one transported to Barnes Hospital. Both are being treated for life threatening injuries. Two other victims were transported to a local hospital.

Police say all 5 occupants in the vehicle, aged between 15 to 19-years of age, were wearing seat belts.
