St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  The warmer temperatures kept the area roadways mostly ice free.

However, MODOT and IDOT reminds motorists to take it easy this morning as roadways are wet and may be slick. Crews have been fully staffed on both sides of the river treating roadways in anticipation of dangerous road conditions.

The National Weather Service was calling for possible icy conditions for the first winter storm of the season.

It’s also recommended to exercise caution while walking on sidewalks and parking lots that may have icy patches.
