BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) – More than 160 people are believed to have been arrested during weekend protests in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where last week a black man was fatally shot by police.
At least 30 of those arrests came Sunday night, as a few hundred people tried to block the on-ramp of Interstate 110. Police in riot gear moved in.
There’ve been demonstrations throughout the country, protesting the Baton Rouge shooting and the deadly police shooting of a black man near St. Paul, Minnesota.
