(KTRS) – A study by a British newspaper states that 1,000 US citizens have been killed by police this year.
The Guardian launched an interactive guide to this year’s police killings on June 1. The paper also broke down the numbers on racial and ethnic lines. There were a total of 502 white deaths and 250 black deaths. Sixteen Missourians have been killed by police in 2015 and 25 deaths in Illinois.
