Jefferson County, MO (KTRS)  Three separate accidents resulted in a 30 car pileup in Jefferson County, snarling rush hour traffic Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that both accidents happened along southbound I-55 near Imperial at around 4 p.m. This resulted in the highway being shut down at Vogel Road.

Seven people were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
