St. Louis, MO  (KTRS)  It was a violent weekend in the city of St. Louis with more than a dozen people shot.

Two of those shootings resulted in fatalities. Police say a woman in her early thirties was shot in the chest Sunday night in the 2500 block of North Grand. She was taken to an area hospital, where she later died.

Then at just after 1 a.m. Monday, a man in his late twenties was shot in south St. Louis along the 5100 block of Minnesota. He died after being taken to the hospital.

These latest killings bring the St. Louis murder count to at least 146.
