CHICAGO (AP) – Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are stopping in Illinois to raise money for their presidential bids.
Trump is scheduled to appear at a fundraiser Wednesday in Bolingbrook with former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka and other top Republican donors. They include businessman Ron Gidwitz and Todd Ricketts, a Chicago Cubs board member and the chief fundraiser for a billionaire-backed Republican super PAC.
Ticket prices range from $1,000 to $250,000 per couple.
Hillary Clinton will be in Chicago on Thursday for a “Lawyers for Hillary” event. Seats range from $2,700 per person to $150,000 for a host reception with the Democratic nominee.
Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, has fundraisers scheduled in Quincy, Peoria and Chicago on Wednesday.
Clinton is heavily favored to win Illinois.
