Tarasenko beats out the likes of Tampa Bay’s Victor Hedman, Dallas’ Jamie Benn and San Jose’s Joe Pavelski. The hashtag #NHL17Tarasenko gained huge momentum during the Blues’ run through the playoffs and culminated with the announcement last night at NHL awards in Las Vegas.
The 24-year old forward becomes the first Blue to appear on the EA Sports’ game since Chris Pronger back in the year 2000. The game will hit store shelves on September 13th for the PS4 and XBox 1.
