St. Louis, MO  (KTRS) St. Louis topped out with 205 murders in 2017.

The last time St. Louis had 205 murders was in 1995. Both 2015 and 2016 topped out with 188 murders.

St. Louis already has two murders for 2018. Police say officers responded to a call for a shooting” and an accident in the 5900 block of Kennerly at just after 5 p.m. on Monday. Both victims were observed inside a vehicle, which had stuck a light pole.

Both victims suffered gunshot wounds and  were pronounced deceased at the scene.

There’s no word on a motive or of any arrests. The victims’ names haven’t been released.

Police earlier reported the incident in the 5900 block of Hodiamont, but later corrected the location to the 5900 block of Kennerly.
