St. Louis, MO (KTRS)  Police are investigating two weekend homicides in the city of St. Louis.

Police say at a man was gunned down at just after 11 p.m. Friday in the 4900 hundred block of Chippewa in south St. Louis. The victim died at the hospital. His name hasn’t been released.

Police say a man was stabbed to death at just before 4 a.m. Saturday in the 3300 block of Clara Avenue. The victim’s name hasn’t been released.

There’s no word of any arrests in either case or a motive.

These latest killings bring the St. Louis murder count to at least 49 for the year.
