Los Angeles, CA (KTRS) St. Louis native Sterling K. Brown is once again making his hometown proud.
The “This Is Us” star won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama last night. This comes on the heels of winning a Golden Globe earlier this month.
Brown plays a family man recovering from a nervous breakdown and the ongoing effects of his adoptive father’s death on him and is siblings when they were teenagers.
The actor says it is a blessing to do what you love for a living. He thanked his fellow actors, saying they were his inspiration. He also specifically thanked the two young actors who play his character as a boy and a teenager on the NBC series.
