(KTRS/AP) – The Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald is facing calls to resign after he compared wait times at clinics to the wait for rides at Disney theme parks.

Senator Roy Blunt described the comment as “right out of Never Never Land.” Illinois US Representative and Iraq War veteran Tammy Duckworth did not call for McDonald’s resignation, but said there needs to be a comprehensive overview of the VA’s problems.

McDonald took office during a scandal within the agency and reports that as many as 40 patients died while waiting for care at the Phoenix VA hospital.
