Royal Lakes, IL  (KTRS)  The Major Case Squad is conducting a large scale search and rescue operation today for a missing Macoupin County woman.

The search for Denita Hedden will include both land and air operations until dusk. The 37-year-old woman was last seen on her birthday, January 25th. Her disappearance is being called suspicious.

Investigators say there may be travel delays through the Royal Lakes area today as a result of this search.

Hedden is described as white, 5-feet-tall, weighing approximately 110 lbs, and has brown hair and brown eyes. was last seen wearing a maroon hoodie sweatshirt with orange sleeves and blue jeans.
