( KTRS ) Saint Louis University has hired Travis Ford as its new men’s coach.

The school has set a news conference for Thursday to introduce Ford, who replaces Jim Crews.

Ford was fired by Oklahoma State this month after eight seasons. He is 345-257 in 19 seasons overall with earlier stops at Massachusetts, Eastern Kentucky and Campbellsville.

The 46-year-old Ford began his college career at Missouri before transferring to Kentucky.
