The people over at Ripley’s just bought the Marilyn Monroe “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” dress at auction for a cool $4+ Million, and our guy, Eddie-Baby, Ed Meyer, VP of Exhibits & Archives, was the man holding the paddle when he decided he was going to spend a large fortune on one dress…..so we had to have him on the show to talk about it.

Did you know that the original design for the dress, sketched by none other than a pre-Cher Bob Mackie, had to be purchased separately from the dress, for another $10G’s……..sheesh, you buy a $4.8 Million dress, and they don’t even throw the sketch in for free!….dresses these days, Am.I.Right?!
