(KTRS) – With St. Patrick’s Day approaching, there is a new report that gives us some insight into the St. Louis party scene for the day:

—Wallet hub ranks St. Louis as the 14th best city in the US for St. Patrick’s day celebrations.
— St. Louis leads the nation in the number of St. Patrick’s Day parties per capita and tops in access to bars.
—Pretty impressive considering St. Louis is 30th for the percentage of people who consider themselves Irish.

The annual St. Patrick’s day Parade is Saturday at noon in downtown St. Louis.
