(KTRS) – Electric Car drivers may be able to expect an easier drive between St. Louis and Kansas City.
The Business Journal reports that Ameren is proposing installing six public charge stations along Interstate 70. The company expects the project to cost around $600,000 and could call for people to “pay at the charger”, similar to the gas station model.
At the start of this year Missouri had less than one electric vehicle per one thousand people–in the bottom fifty percent of states.
