HILLSDALE, Mo. (AP) — Police in suburban St. Louis say a man and a woman have been found dead inside a home after callers reported hearing shots fired.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the shooting happened shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday in Hillsdale. St. Louis County police are investigating.
St. Louis County Police Officer Benjamin Granda says investigators have determined that the suspect “gained entry” to the home before the shooting, but declined to elaborate on whether the suspect forced his way in or was let inside.
No arrests had been reported by late Saturday morning, and the names of the victims have not been released.
