(KTRS) – Visitors are locked out of several Illinois state parks.

Illinois lawmakers cannot solve the state’s budget impasse they will not be able to pay power bills. The Metro East Park and Recreation District offered to bring bills current at Horseshoe Lake, but the electricity company refused the offer.

Ramsey Lake is closed now and Carlyle Park will also close soon.
